First things first, why do we never think twice about buying hand cream but rarely entertain the idea of purchasing a foot balm? Our poor feet! We are on them all day, so we really need to up our foot game and give them some TLC. Foot balm is basically like a lip balm or chapstick for your feet and is recommended for feet prone to chafing and cracking. You can apply foot balm to specific areas or your entire foot like a lotion. Doing the latter can help reduce odour, stop antibacterial build-up, and moisturise simultaneously.
Beeswax creates a barrier that traps moisture in the skin, keeping your feet hydrated. It also helps in protecting the skin from any external contaminants or irritants. Along with the wax, the inclusion of peppermint oil is both a natural skin coolant and pain reliever.
My foot balm is packaged in an eco-friendly reusable screw-top tin which is perfect for transportation and makes it convenient to ‘scoop out and apply’. Being an oil-based product makes it easy to spread on the skin. Each balm is free of preservatives, palm oil, synthetic fragrances, synthetic colourants. These balms are vegetarian (not vegan, as they contain beeswax).
