I LOVE my shampoo bars! They are such a luxurious product, plus they are so simple to use and can last for up to 35 washes. I make them in small batches by hand in my purpose-built kitchen shed. They are free of preservatives, palm oil, synthetic fragrances, synthetic colourants and are packaged in recyclable acid-free tissue paper. The ingredients used in all of my shampoo bars help moisturise your hair, leaving it full of body and shine…if you want to look and feel great, then I promise you will.
The key difference between commercial shampoos and natural shampoo bars is that they are solid and do not come in plastic bottles. So not only do shampoo bars leave your hair feeling soft and smelling delicious, BUT they also help reduce the number of plastic bottles in landfills – approx. 500 million each year! Also, the chemicals found in regular shampoo can often strip hair of its natural oils, leaving your scalp feeling dry. In contrast, my shampoo bars are gentler, safer, and can lead to a healthier scalp and hair.
If you haven’t tried switching to shampoo bars before, come and give it a try. Lather the shampoo bar between your hands and gently massage the foam into wet hair. Wash and rinse thoroughly with water until hair is clean, then towel dry to perfection. It’s that easy!
